MotoGP, Lorenzo: the last turn? I don't know why it's been changed

It's now off-camber: "if the track has less grip there would have been a lot of crashes. The airbag? At times I don't use it, it bothers me"

Lorenzo: the last turn? I don't know why it's been changed

Despite the complicated day, Lorenzo is satisfied. At Sepang he first he had face a dry track - but not two dry - and then a wet track in the afternoon. Though the times do not reflect it (10th in FP1 and 16th in FP2) Jorge quickly confirms that he had “good sensations with the bike”.

The final position could be better though…
I was quite competitive in the wet, and am not surprised as this is always the case here, but then the track dried out and I didn't have the intermediate tyre in”.

What happened this morning?
I should have continued with the soft rear tyre but they stopped me to test the hard and I wasn't able to improve. My potential was greater”.

How's the track after the modifications?
The asphalt offers good grip, but the problem are the wet marks, particularly in view of the race”.

The incline of certain turns has changed too…
Turn two now has a strange incline but I don't understand why they've altered the final corner. Luckily the new asphalt is very grippy, or there would have been a lot of crashes ”.

In recent days there's been talk of the fact you don't your use your airbag. How come?
Sometimes I don't use it, but then I always use it when it rains for example. The device, inside my leathers, gives me mobility problems in the upper body, and is also an extra weight. I'm working with Alpinestars to solve this problem, also because in two years' time airbags will become compulsory”.
