MotoGP, Paolo Simoncelli: "Marquez's return? He has Marco's personality."

"Seeing them in the race would have been so cool. We would've had a blast. Riders like that have something inside that makes them what they are, and that is thrilling."

MotoGP: Paolo Simoncelli:

"Seeing Marquez and my son in the race would have been fantastic because they have the same personality. We would have really enjoyed it," is what Paolo Simoncelli said in an interview with Sky this morning after the Moto3 FP1, in which Tatsuki Suzuki reached a second position behind Raul Fernandez. He was obviously referring to Marquez's lighting quick return after his fall and injury on Sunday, which lead to surgery in Barcelona on Tuesday.

"These are extraordinary guys," Paolo added. "Something inside makes them like this. I was thrilled to see Marquez's desire to race at all costs."

He also commented on the great comeback after the first mistake and the fall a few laps from the end.

"Marc has a strong personality. The thing that surprised me on Sunday is that he fell because, usually, when you get competitive like that, you can do anything. He was unlucky or made a mistake. If the race were to end in two days, he would already be great. It makes you think that, when he races, he always does it only at 60%."
