In just over a week, Valentino Rossi will race his last Grand Prix in Misano and his Fan Club is preparing a big party (we reported it HERE). After the Italian race, two more and then the Doctor will end his career. After 26 years he will no longer be a MotoGP rider.
"I'm a bit paranoid about Valencia. I think I'm not that ready for retirement," he confessed in an interview with DAZN Spain.
Valentino has been a rider all his life and he will have to face a huge change. Like everyone, it had to happen sooner or later, but digesting it is not that easy.
“In Austria, after announcing it, it didn't affect me too much - he continued - In Valencia it will be more difficult because from that moment on my life will change, I will stop being a MotoGP rider. It won't be easy, but it will still be a nice moment. I've been reading messages inviting me to retire for 15 years, but I've never been interested in doing so”.
