MotoGP: Sepang: Pirro remembers Simoncelli and warms for the tests

He left Bologna on Thursday and arrived in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Michele Pirro is now in Malaysia, where Monday he’ll finally get on his Ducati to inaugurate 2022. While waiting for the shakedown, the Borgo Panigale test rider decided to work out with his Trek.

As we all know, the rider from Puglia loves bicycles, so he took the opportunity to do some laps on the track this morning with his. And as he did, he stopped to pay tribute to Marco Simoncelli at Turn 11, where there’s a plaque dedicated to his memory. "First laps with bike in Sepang after two years of absence,” Michele wrote on Instagram. “We could not miss a greeting to SIC, who would have turned 35 a few days ago.”
