From Japan comes more good news on the condition of Gino Rea, the protagonist of a terrible accident during free practice for the Suzuka 8 Hours. The rider is no longer attached to the ventilator and is breathing autonomously.

Rea's family members provided the updates on his improvement on his Instagram profile.

"Positive results on Gino’s recovery.

The ventilator has been removed. He is now breathing on his own and beginning to communicate with family.

Family and the hospital team are very happy with his progress.

Thanks for the support
