A fire broke out in the Motegi paddock. The MarcVDS Moto2 team’s garage, located between Aprilia and Suzuki’s MotoGP ones, caught fire. Spanish reporter Borja Gonzales published photos on his Twitter profile.
Firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and promptly put out the flames, preventing damage to both people and property, also since the garage was empty. The fire might have been caused by a short circuit in an electrical outlet.
It was a really scary moment, but everything seems to have been resolved.
