MotoGP: Bagnaia: “Goggia was incredible, she pushed the limit even further”

Motorbike racers are used to racing with a fractured bone or two, but skiers are no less. Sofia Goggia’s victory at St. Moritz with a fractured hand, after having undergone surgery just a few hours before, impressed Bagnaia.

Pecco loves skiing and knows what it means to compete if you're not in perfect shape (he arrived second in 2020 in Misano, two months after a very bad tibia fracture) and was pleasantly surprised by the performance of skier Sofia Goggia. Sofia had commented on how “many motorbike racers have done it before me” but, for Ducati’s World Champion, her enterprise is second to none.

Sofia Goggia did something incredible. I think she pushed the limit even further, and it was impressive,” Bagnaia commented.

So, all the two champions have to do now is arrange to meet and decide whether that will be on snow or asphalt.
