SBK, Mandalika: Rinaldi falls and almost drags Bassani down with him!

Saturday at Mandalika, a day Michael Rinaldi wants to forget. At the start of Race 1, the rider from Romagna fell, less than 100 meters from the start. The Aruba rider had followed an unusual line, making a mistake in braking.

As Michael fell, he hit the rear of Axel Bassani’s Ducati. Alex luckily managed to stay on his Ducati. The Motocorsa rider was then able to continue his race, finishing fourth and, once again, proving to be the best of the independents. Watch the video of the accident HERE.
