MotoGP, Bezzecchi: "Everything went well with Marini, otherwise Uccio and Vale would kill me"

"I lost a bit of time in the battle and Binder protected very well on the last lap. Sunday's race will be different, on Friday the Aprilias had a better pace than mine"

MotoGP: Bezzecchi:

Bezzecchi is getting into the habit of stepping onto the podium. After last Sunday in Portimao, he added the first in a sprint race to the collection in Argentina. A second place that could have been a win, if it weren't for the fact that it took Marco a little too long to free himself from his rivals and start chasing Binder.

“It was a fantastic Sprint for me - he said, a sign that having missed the big target doesn't weigh too heavy on him - The start wasn’t the best but I was managing to stay in the top positions. I was behind Luca and in turn five everyone braked so deep and I also braked deep but a little bit less compared to the others. As soon as I got into the corner my head was already down, this is why I touched with Luca. Fortunately, everything went well otherwise Uccio and Vale would kill me“ he laughed.

Passing Binder was impossible.

“Then I could recover many places and also in the battle with Maverick we lost a bit of time but I was fast and managed to come back. Was very funnycontinued Marco – Brad protected very well so it was difficult to make more than this. Anyway, I protected very well and as close as I could but it was important the pace of today ready for Sunday which will be different because the tyre consumption will be more."

Aleix Espargarò said that, starting from the front, Bezzecchi would have won today with a 5 second advantage.

“It seems a bit exaggerated to me – he commented - Yesterday, in the dry, he and Vinales had an even better pace than mine, I don't agree with Aleix. I was fast today, but tomorrow will be a different type of race. I'll try to fight but we'll have to wait to see what will happen".

Marco was also happy for the fight with his Academy mates.

“We train together every day, but we've never had the opportunity to challenge each other in MotoGP before. It was nice” he concluded.
