MotoGP: VIDEO - Alex Rins: “I’m a bit better and I’ll try to be back soon”

Alex Rins is back in Spain after his surgery in Italy, during which the doctors immobilized the fracture with an external fixator. The LCR team rider is now preparing for a second leg operation, and he wanted to give everyone an update on his condition from the hospital with the video below.

I’m already a bit better after the fall in the sprint race on Saturday. I fell at the Arrabbiata 1, a very fast turn, and started rolling in the gravel. I broke my tibia, fibula, and ankle. Now I’m in Madrid, hoping that the swelling in my leg will subside a bit because they won’t be able to operate otherwise. I’m motivated. Thanks for the messages you’ve sent. I really appreciate them, and I’ll try to get back on the track as soon as possible,” Alex commented.
