MotoGP, Important Honda announcement coming at 2 pm

In questo momento ogni parola deve essere pesata due volte e quelle scritte dal team ufficiale Honda su Twitter stanno scatenando speculazioni a non finire. Un messaggio tanto coinciso quanto criptico: "ci vediamo alle 14", pubblicato sul social network poco prima delle 11.

Right now, every word has to be chosen carefully, twice over, and those written by Honda on Twitter are triggering endless speculations. A message as concise as it is cryptic: “See you at 2 pm”, posted on their social media network just before 11 am.

Before today, a message like that would’ve probably gone unnoticed. But this isn’t just any ordinary time for HRC. Their relations with Marc Marquez are increasingly strained and are probably worse since yesterday, when the Spanish champion got the chance to test the 2024 prototype during the Misano tests. “It’s different, but it has the same problems as the current one,” he seemed to criticize.

To make matters worse, Marc continues to be mysterious about his future: “I have two plans, or rather three. I’ll decide between the Indian and Japanese GPs,” he said yesterday. Clearly, the message that appeared on Twitter put everyone on edge. Will they say Marc is leaving? What else could it be? Or could it just be a promo stint?

Honda couldn’t have been happy with Marquez’s words to the media during the Misano tests, since he almost ridiculed them. “I’m speaking with a new face. I don’t know who he is. They didn’t introduce him to me. Maybe he’s the new project leader,” was one comment. Words so sharp that make you even think Marc wouldn’t mind being shown to the door, to start a new (professional) life elsewhere.

Unless, the announcement is about  the sponsor, Repsol, or Joan Mir.

Honda’s appointment is coming up. The mystery will soon be revealed.
