Jorge Martin arrived in India after his super double win two weeks ago in Misano. On the Buddh track, the Pramac rider seeks confirmation, aware that the challenge will be a sort of sight-unseen Grand Prix for all the riders.
“I did some laps on the bike, and the layout is nice,” he said. “Compared to the traditional tracks, this track looks different, but we’ll wait for tomorrow to make all the decisions.”
The MotoGP lands in India and its connection with Mahindra is inevitable.
“Of course I remember those times, and I don’t deny that there were some problems. When we switched to more competitive bikes, the level rose, and I think it was evident.”
He then talks about the success in Misano.
“After Pecco’s victory in Jerez that, in the end, is my track, I thought it was even more important to win in Italy. I succeeded, and I was really happy with that result, given that all Italian riders train in Misano.”
The news arrived of Morbidelli in Pramac for 2024.
“It’ll be interesting to see what Franco does. It’s important to have a competitive rider on the team, since we’re also fighting for the constructors title. He’s a fast rider, and I’m convinced he’ll be that from the beginning.”

“I’ll try to be competitive. I’ve done several tests on the simulator. I don’t know what’ll happen this weekend, although I’ll try to do my best and win.”
