Espargaro is certain: “I’m not at the end of my MotoGP course”

The Aprilia rider assured everyone: “As long as I’m competitive, you’ll see me on the grid.” But not everything is sunshine and roses: “The organizers are exaggerating with the number of GPs.”

MotoGP: Espargaro is certain: “I’m not at the end of my MotoGP course”

In Valencia, on November 26th, he hugged his brother Pol who arrived at his last appearance in the premier class. As for himself, Aleix Espargaro revealed that he imagined everything but his leaving, since today’s MotoGP seems like a business for very young riders.

With 34 years behind him, the rider from Spain doesn’t want to give up. On the contrary, he’s fiercer than ever and determined to beat anyone who joins him in Aprilia considering that, both in 2022 and in 2023, a tough guy like Maverick Viñales was kept behind, ending in 4th and 6th place, respectively.

The rider from Granollers arrived in Noale directly from Suzuki in 2017. Since then, he has had three wins on the RS-GP, and his goal is to do even better, given the good premises offered by the team. “I don’t think next year will be the end of a cycle,”  he told crash.net. “Besides the episode with Morbidelli in Qatar, I have a lot of fun here. As long as I’m fast, I’ll keep racing.

Aleix is greatly motivated and has lots of and spirit. Nevertheless, he shot down Dorna. “What I don’t love is the calendar and the weekend format. I understand the position of the organizers, and I know that, if they could, they’d have forty-five races, but where is the limit?”, the rhetorical question he’s not the only one to pose.

After two 20-round championships, the top class is preparing for another record, reaching 22 races. This means, if you count the Sprint Race, as many as 44 events.
