SBK: Final 2024 World Superbike Round postponed by one week

The 2024 World SBK championship will end a week later than originally planned. Dorna has in fact announced that it has postponed to the weekend of 18-20 October the Prometeon Spanish Round at Jerez, which was due to take place on the weekend of 11-13 October.

“Jerez will once again play host to the finale of the 2024 WorldSBK season, with an adjustment to the initially stated dates. Responding to the dynamic demands of the local events calendar and the request of the township of Jerez de la Frontera, the FIM and WorldSBK have agreed to delay this year's curtain closing event by one week. The Prometeon Spanish Round is now scheduled to unfold on 18th-20th October at the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto”, says the statement released by the organisers.

The season's grand finale will therefore be held concurrently with the MotoGP Australian GP, scheduled to take place at Phillip Island the same weekend, and will see both SBK and Supersport and Supersport300 World Championship riders competing in Andalusia.
