SBK: Team Kagayama Ducati contemplates Herrin and Waters with Mizuno at Suzuka 8 Hours

The Suzuka 8 Hours is certainly one of the most eagerly-awaited events in the World Endurance Championship. And we'll also be seeing Ducati in action this year. In fact, the Borgo Panigale-based constructor has decided to rely on the Kagayama team, which is already taking the Panigale V4 to the track this year in the All Japan Superbike with Ryo Mizuno.

In view of July's 8 Hours, the Japanese rider will have two teammates he can rely on for the classic Suzuka race. According to rumors, the Japanese team, in agreement with Ducati, is considering Josh Herrin, who's already involved with Ducati in MotoAmerica after following in Petrucci's legacy last season with the V4.

The other name mentioned is that of the Australian, Joshua Waters, a multi-championship winner in his homeland and currently involved in the series with the Panigale.

At the moment, there is still no confirmation from the team, but these two riders could be two valid solutions that would make up the attacking trident at Suzuka.
