MotoGP, Grassilli: "I sent a message to Marquez and Bagnaia to dissolve the tension."

"After the Portuguese GP, I sent them a WhatsApp message to make sure everything was okay, and I received an affirmative response."

MotoGP: Grassilli:

Although several weeks have now passed since the accident between Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia in the final rounds of the Portimão GP, with the Italian having the worst of it and the Spanish rider relegated to the farthest positions, the issue continues to be at the center of paddock gossip.

In fact, many have seen the first spark of a probable fire ignite in the accident between the reigning champion and the newcomer to the team, even if he's on the Gresini satellite team.

Ducati's Sports Director, Mauro Grassilli, was asked by Crash.net what he did after the episode that evidently created some embarrassment inside the Borgo Panigale garage. Grassilli stated: "Very simply, I sent them both a message. I don't remember whether it was o Monday or Tuesday. I asked them if everything was under control and received an affirmative answer from both of them, so the situation is positive."
