Adrian Huertas gives a comeback victory to Ducati in Race 1 of the SuperSport at Assen. Thanks to the choice of the slick tire, the Spanish rider managed to come back from 14th position up to first, placing the winning attack on Debise, who until the penultimate lap was leading the race.

A performance to be framed for the Aruba bearer, who on this occasion triumphs ahead of Stefano Manzi, who also managed to get the better of Debise, relegating him to third place. The Evan Bros bearer then consoles himself with his first podium of the season while the local idol, van Straalen, remains down.

Fifth place for Edwards followed by Caricasulo then Navarro. As for the other Italians, 14th Corsi, 15th Antonelli, 17th Giannini preceded.

To be recorded the missed start of Yari Montella, forced to raise the white flag due to a problem related to the tire change a few minutes before the start.
