MotoGP: What happens if...Marc Marquez wins the Grand Prix race in Jerez

917 – If Marc Marquez wins the Grand Prix race, it will mark 917 days since his last win at the 2021 Emilia- Romagna GP. There were 581 days between his win at Valencia 2019, his last before sustaining his arm injury in Jerez in 2020, and his next win at the 2021 German GP.

113 – Wildcard and MotoGP Legend Dani Pedrosa could take his 113th podium, which would see him close in on fellow Legend Jorge Lorenzo (114), who is in second on the list of riders with most premier class podiums.

64 – If at least one Ducati qualifies in the top three, it will be the 64th consecutive race that a Ducati rider starts on the front row, stretching back to Valencia 2020.

50 – Ducati is on a streak of 49 consecutive GP races with at least one rider on the podium. If they take a podium this weekend, they will extend their record to 50.

19 – Pedro Acosta will be 19 years and 339 days old on Sunday, so if he wins the GP, he’ll become the youngest premier class winner, taking the record from Marc Marquez (20 years 63 days old in Austin in 2013). If he finishes on the podium, he’ll become the youngest rider to take three premier class podiums in three successive races, taking the record from Marc Marquez (20 years 77 days old at the 2013 Spanish GP).

6 – There are six riders on the grid who could take their maiden MotoGP™ win this weekend: Alex Marquez, Raul Fernandez, Luca Marini, Takaaki Nakagami, Augusto Fernandez and rookie Pedro Acosta.

4 – If a rider other than Quartararo (2021), Bagnaia (2022) or A. Espargaro (2023) qualifies on pole, they will be the fourth different polesitter in six premier class Grands Prix at Jerez.

2 – KTM/GASGAS and Aprilia riders could give their factory a maiden premier class win at Jerez.
