Many MotoGP riders have chosen Andorra for their residence and although this choice may be more than logical from a financial point of view (we are talking about a tax haven) and also adding the undeniable charm of the place and the perfect routes for cycling enthusiasts such as Aleix Espargarò, needless to say that the real flaw of the place is the lack of high-level circuits on which to train for riding between the kerbs.
The only existing track is located at a good 2400 meters above sea level, a record among other things, and until recently it had a not exactly exciting layout for riders accustomed to riding at Mugello and Phillip Island. However, the track has undergone a facelift with some changes to the layout, which also earned the approval of Johann Zarco, who went there to train on his motard.
