MotoGP: Last few GPs for Marquez before saying goodbye to Honda:

In Indonesia Marc Marquez will begin his last few races with Honda, before saying goodbye at Valencia. After the official declaration from HRC on the interruption of the relationship (and waiting for the one from the Gresini team which will sanction the new marriage), the Spanish champion has 6 Grands Prix ahead of him to make the farewell a bit sweeter. After all, he himself had defined the podium at Motegi as "romantic" and will undoubtedly try to get some more satisfaction.

It won't be easy with a bike that isn't too competitive, but the first triple-header that will start in Mandalika (which will be followed by the Phillip Island and Buriram rounds) could hold many surprises and Marquez will certainly want to take advantage of every opportunity.

“Our objective for this race is exactly the same as the ones which remain this year: go out and do our maximum to finish 2023 in the best way possible as a teamsaid Marc – Indonesia is always an incredible country to visit, you can really feel the passion of the fans here and I enjoy coming here more and more each time. Unfortunately, last year I had a crash in Warm Up so finally I wasn’t able to race but I rode here in the test and during practice as well so we have some idea what to expect this year. Let’s put on a good show this weekend and really just enjoy it.”

Joan Mir will have all the responsibilities on his shoulders next year and he must start laying down some solid foundations on which to build.

“We arrive in Indonesia after a week at home, refreshed and ready to go – the rider from Majorca was positive In Japan we had some disappointment, but I am looking to put that behind me and use it for motivation. Last year we achieved a good result in sixth in very tricky conditions so we need to see what’s possible this weekend and also what the weather does. Right now the forecast is looking very hot!”
