MotoGP: Rins will also skip Sepang Grand Prix, replaced by Lecuona

Alex Rins won’t even be in Malaysia. About twenty days ago, he had surgery on the leg he badly injured again during the Mugello Grand Prix. The LCR team rider had returned to racing in Japan, but was forced to withdraw due to pain. The same thing had then happened to him at Phillip Island and, back in Spain, further medical visits had revealed the need for anther operation.

So Rins will be continuing his healing process and will be once again replaced in Sepang by Iker Lecuona, who is now free of commitments in the SBK, having finished the championship. The rider from Valencia had raced for the LCR team in Barcelona GP.
