MotoGP: The Ducati VR46s reveal a 'Valentino yellow' livery:

The VR46 team has a new main sponsor (Pertamina), a new rider (Fabio Di Giannantonio) and a guarantee (Marco Bezzecchi): with these ingredients it got its 2024 season underway from the stage of the Palazzo dei Congressi in Riccione. Today the liveries of the Ducatis of the Pertamina Enduro Racing Team were revealed. Aldo Drudi's pencil has created new graphics inspired by the Doctor: "yellow accompanied Valentino's entire career and so we used this colour, which is racing, nervous".

Valentino Rossi did the honours: “the history of the team is already quite long, it is our eleventh season and the third in MotoGP. We have already had some important collaborations, but we are particularly happy with the one with Pertamina. In Indonesia there is an incredible passion for MotoGP, it feels like the ‘80s, everyone is crazy about motorbikes." On the new bikes he said: "seeing the yellow again gives me a thrill, now we need to make them go fast".

“It's a fantastic day for us, we're starting a new chapter and I can't wait to get on the bike” said Bezzecchi, the team's veteran, in his third year with VR46 colours. His new teammate is Di Giannantonio: “it's special to be here, it's the first year with this team and I'm excited. There is nothing better than this team to improve" said Fabio.

Alessio 'Uccio' Salucci, team director, said: "with the Academy and the team we are continuing to bring the name of Tavullia to the world and it wasn't easy after Vale's retirement. It's something that makes me proud and we will try to do even better, even if it won't be easy after an amazing 2023." Team manager Pablo Nieto is also aware of this: “for us it will be a special year, a tough one even, but we will have to enjoy it. The goal is always to progress, learn from mistakes and above all have fun. We will try to be protagonists."
