MotoGP: Sepang test: Bagnaia crashes at first lap and gets towed back

Pecco Bagnaia started his 2024 season with a literal bang. During his first flying lap, the world champion crashed his Ducati, forcing the stewards to display the red flag and interrupt the session. But the rider from Piedmont didn’t suffer any physical consequences and quickly hitched a ride to the garage … towed away in a trailer cart on his Desmosedici.

Judging by the damage to the bike, the fall probably wasn’t very violent, also because Bagnaia was only on his first lap. Pecco fell at Turn 11, at the same point Raul Fernandez also fell.
