SBK: Phillip Island: tires keeping the Superbike in suspense

Everyone at Phillip Island is eagerly awaiting the tires to arrive. In fact, the issue linked to the tires is keeping the SBK paddock in suspense. According to the latest news, the cargo ship with the three containers arrived at the port in Melbourne this morning.

One contains the tires for the tests, while the other two contain the tires for the race, but only one will arrive today. The other two should be arriving during the night. The problem is that, at the moment, they still don’t know which of the three containers will arrive at the circuit this afternoon, so they’ll find out which tires are in it  once it’s opened.

Hopefully, the one indicated by Pirelli – namely, the one containing the tires for the tests -  will be cleared through customs. Read HERE for the latest news.
