After the podium in the Styrian GP, Dennis Foggia complained to his team, Leopard Racing, for having left his father Fabio out of the paddock and also added that he no longer wanted to remain in the team in 2022, despite his contract.
Leopard Racing provided the following statement regarding the matter:
Regarding the statements made by Dennis Foggia at the end of the Austrian Grand Prix, after the podium, and regarding some recent news and articles, Leopard Racing would like to give its version to clarify the situation:
-The team has indeed denied Dennis Foggia’s father to access the Leopard box and the Le0pard truck. However, the team has never taken his pass away, and the team has never forbidden the access of Fabio Foggia to the paddock.
-Leopard Racing has taken such decisions due to several situations in which Fabio Foggia’s attitudes affected the harmony of the team. In addition, Dennis Foggia’s public statements should have stayed private, as reflected in his contract.
-These decisions have been taken by thinking about what’s best for the performance of the team.
Leopard Racing has won 3 World Champion titles, 30 victories, and 66 podiums since 2015 and has never had these kinds of troubles. The team has always given the best (and will continue to do so) to Dennis Foggia. And to sum up, Dennis Foggia has achieved the best results of his career with Leopard.
