Jorge Martin and Prima Pramac Ducati excelled at Misano, all weekend long. Bezzecchi and Bagnaia, who were recovering from injuries, were excellent. Marc Marquez led a good race. Aprilia played defense, and Pedrosa gave the other KTM riders a lesson in style.

Carlo Pernat’s comment:

Misano was a hot GP. As always, it was Ducati’s domain. Martin’s race was superlative. One of the best weekends of his career. One pole, one win in the sprint, and one in the race on Sunday. The gap in the championship between him and Bagnaia  also shortened. He’s now Pecco’s main rival. His physical condition is superb. Bezzecchi was exceptional, despite his injured hand. Then there was Pecco who, if had known he was going to get two third places after the fall in Barcelona, he wouldn’t have believed it. It was a glass half full for him. He was suffering. You could tell. We got used to Ducati dominating, while Aprilia could have done something more. Aleix was complaining about some pain, while Maverick finished the race fifth. A good result, but not enough for a title. KTM learned  a lesson from Pedrosa, since all of its riders fell. We have to reflect on this, given that Pedrosa is talented, but he has also been out of the race for many years. Binder might be partly justified, because he was pushing right behind him when he fell. Marc Marquez is smiling again. I don’t believe the rumors that want him in Gresini. I think he’ll stay with Honda, and this race might have convinced him of this choice. Monday’s tests will be very important for him. As for Yamaha, they were also weak. They’re waiting for the new Marmorini engine. There were a lot of fans here in Misasno. It was a good weekend overall.
