What Brought Max Flinders to America?

Max Flinders stated that his father received a job opportunity to work at the NASA station in Mississippi, which meant the family had to relocate to a state close by. They purchased a home located in Siddell, Louisiana which was close to the NASA station so his father would be on a closer commute to his job.

When he first began attending American schools, Flinders attempted to water down his British accent to sound more like he was originally from Louisiana so he could be accepted into friend groups in his community. He only utilizes his British accent if talking to his family members that still live in England today.
